Who Is Eijiro Kirishima?

Background

Kirishima’s Hardening Quirk first manifested when he was three years old. While rubbing his eye in the middle of the night, his hand hardened, causing him to accidentally cut himself. This left the distinct scar on his right eye and initially made him dislike his own power for being "boring" and hurtful.

Growing up, he had straight black hair and felt plain compared to his peers. He viewed his quirk as mediocre and lacked the "instinct" to act heroically that he saw in others. A large, terrifying villain (later revealed as Gigantomachia) approached Kirishima's classmates, including Mina Ashido, asking for directions.
