The Executioner and Her Way of Life (Shokei Shoujo no Virgin Road) is a dark fantasy yuri light novel series written by Mato Sato and illustrated by Nilitsu. It has been adapted into a manga series and a popular 2022 anime television series produced by J.C. Staff. Because of this, the ruling Church banned summoning and created an elite group of assassins called Executioners to secretly eliminate any Lost One upon arrival.

The story follows Menou, a skilled and ruthless young Executioner. She meets Akari Tokitō, a newly summoned Japanese high school girl. When Menou attempts to assassinate her, she discovers Akari holds the Pure Concept of Time, which automatically reverses her own death, making her completely immortal. To find a way to fulfill her duty, Menou pretends to guide Akari on a journey across the world to find a specialized method to kill her.
