The Guardian Bearers are elite warriors blessed by Land Gods who receive a divine crest and immense spiritual strength. Without a god's protection, ordinary humans are completely marginalized and struggle daily just to stay alive against the relentless, invading beast tribes, such as the gorilla-like Ash Monkeys (Macaques) and pig-like Ogres, who fight to claim human territory and steal their gods.


Power is currency; victorious warriors extract and consume "godstones" from fallen enemies to absorb their spiritual strength. Armed with his otherworldly memories, Kai eventually awakens hidden magic, accidentally ascends to the status of a guardian bearer, and must discreetly navigate a world filled with constant violence and betrayal.

  • Kai: The main protagonist. He is a young foot soldier from Lag Village who suddenly awakens memories of a past life in a technologically advanced world (Japan) and becomes a powerful "Guardian Bearer". Kai possesses a rare trait known as a Channeler. On the brink of death during a brutal demi-human ambush, he suddenly awakens memories of a past life in a technologically advanced world (modern Japan). He uses the strategic logic and magical concepts from his past-life knowledge to teach himself how to cast magic.

  • Jose: The daughter of Lord Vegin, and the younger sister of Orha. Known throughout Lag Village as the “White Princess” due to her striking appearance, characterized by long white hair, pale skin, and red eyes, she is a "Blessed One" who has received divine protection from the Valley God, granting her immense spiritual power and internal land god energy. While practicing her combat skills in secret, Jose discovers that Kai can use magic. She promises to keep his power a secret on the condition that he becomes her spear-training partner, leading to a close bond where they help each other grow stronger.


Lag Village Residents and Warriors


  • Vegin (Moloch Vegin): The respected Lord of Lag Village, dedicated to its protection and expansion. He is the father of Orha and Jose.

  • Orha (Moloch Orha): Vegin's arrogant and overconfident son. He is a Guardian Bearer who values family honor above the lives of common villagers.

  • Manso: A seasoned warrior from Lag Village who serves in Kai's squad. He acts as a protective older brother figure to Kai.

  • Elsa: A young village girl who supports the front-line fighters by handling cooking and logistical chores.


The Korol Tribe and Valley Deities


  • Alue: A young girl from the Korol tribe who treats Kai as a deity, bringing him offerings in the valley.

  • Polek: A blind but deeply spiritual elder of the Korol tribe. He is a veteran warrior who can sense spiritual energy through his guardian blessings.

  • The Valley God: The divine entity ruling over the local valley.
